Tournament Overview

Format

A two-round system will be taken, with the first round (group stage) followed by the second round (knock-out stage).

Match duration

40-minute matches (comprising two 20-minute halves) with a 7-minute halftime interval. If the match ends in a draw, the match will be a draw.

The match on May 4th will be 40 minutes (20 minutes half), and the half-time interval will be 10 minutes. The May 5 match and final match will be 60 minutes (30 minutes half), and the half-time interval will be 10 minutes. If there is a tie in time, the winner will be decided by the PK method.

First round ranking method

Ranking determination

Teams will be given 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and none for a defeat, and ranked according to the total number of points. If two or more teams have the same number of points, their rank shall be determined in the following order of precedence:

a) greater number of points obtained in the group matches between the teams concerned;

b) goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams concerned;

c) greater number of goals scored in the group matches between the teams concerned;

d) goal difference in all group matches;

e) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches.

If a match cannot be held or is canceled for reasons attributable to one of the teams, the match will be recorded as 0 to 3 against the defaulting team.

Match regulations

Regulations follow FIFA Laws of the Game 2021/2022, with the exception of the duration of the match.

No more than 11 persons (5 substitutes , 4 officials, 2 players who not play at the relevant match) shall be allowed to sit on the substitutes’ bench. These must be the people included in the team roster. Also, only one of the team officials included in the roster will be allowed in the technical area in order to give out strategic instructions.

Up to 5 substitutions out of the list of registered players are permitted.

A disciplinary committee will be set up for the tournament to deal with disciplinary issues. Players sent off the field with a red card cannot play in the next match; the judgment as to whether or not the player can play in subsequent matches is left up to the disciplinary committee.

If a player receives two yellow cards in the first round he will be suspended from his team’s next match in either the first or second round. If a player receives one yellow card in the first round, it will not be carried over to second round.
