Message from Mr. KITAZAWA

“Contributing to advancement of the society through football”

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 was a very moving tournament with Messi finally fulfilled his dream to bringing the victory to Argentine. Also we were so excited watching SAMURAI BLUE winning over Germany and Spain.
As for the Tokyo U-14 International Youth Football Tournament, which has been held since 2008, overseas teams are scheduled to participate for the first time in four years.
What will the young athletes feel and think through the cultural ineraction across border and supporting the poeple striving to reconstruct the community stricken by the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011. How will the experineces affect their performance?
We are already looking forward to seeing them grow into top athletes of the next generation who contribute to society through football.
I expect this tournament will inspire everybody’s soul!
