Team information
CHERTANOVO (MOSCOW)
Chertanovo, a Moscow-based youth soccer academy founded in 1976, is a prestigious club that sent six players to the Russian team that became U-17 Europe champions in 2013. Last year, it made its first appearance in the finals, only just losing out to Brazil's prestigious club Palmeiras in a penalty shootout after a fierce battle. Eyes are on whether it will be able to cast aside last year’s result and achieve its long-awaited first victory this year.
